Beginning Fall 2026, the PSCI (Psychological Science) department acronym will be updated to PSY (Psychology) at the School of Social Ecology. Lower division core requirements for the Psychology B.A. major will be updated from the current three-part PSCI 11A, 11B, and 11C series to PSY 21 (Psychology Foundations 1) and PSY 22 (Psychology Foundations 2).

This tool helps you understand which lower division Psychology core courses to take next based on the PSCI 11ABC series coursework you’ve completed or are enrolled in. You can use this tool if you are:

  • A Psychology B.A. major
  • Planning to enter the Psychology B.A. major
  • A Psychological Science minor
