2025-2026 NSF GRFP Application Incentive Award

This form is for students to submit verification that they applied for the NSF GRFP in the 2025-2026 cycle. UCI Graduate Division will provide a $500 incentive award for eligible graduate students. Graduate students who are awarded the NSF GRFP may be eligible for an additional $1,000 award. (NOTE: The $1000 award requires submission of a second form and official NSF notice of funding.) 

To qualify for this $500 award, students must be enrolled full-time (12 units) and in good academic standing in an eligible Master’s or Ph.D. program (self-supporting programs are not eligible. You can access a list of self-supporting programs by following this link: https://www.reg.uci.edu/fees/list_of_ssgdp_programs.html). They must meet all NSF GRFP eligibility criteria, and they must complete and submit this form, including a copy of final fellowship application AND an NSF verification of receipt of application no later than November 1, 2025 at 5 PM.  

Per federal guidelines, all fellowship and tuition support is considered when determining student loan eligibility. This incentive award could reduce your student loan eligibility if you receive federal student loans during the same academic year as awards.
