Training Grant Faculty Incentive ($5K SUBMISSION)
UCI Graduate Division will provide $5000 to UCI PIs who submit training grant applications (new or renewal) to a funding agency. One incentive maximum per Funding Opportunity.
Incentives are only for grants with predoctoral trainees, not undergraduate or other students (e.g., R25).
This form must be submitted within 2 months of grant submission along with agency confirmation of submission. Upon receipt of NOA, Graduate Division will provide an additional $5000 to PI (submit other form). Should there be multiple PIs, the incentive(s) will be divided equally. The incentive begins September 12, 2024 and may be paused at the discretion of the division.
*Please note: The incentive is transferred to a PI's research account. UCI campus policies regulate the use of these accounts, and these policies may be subject to periodic change. Please check with your program financial analyst re: disbursement questions.
