Women of the Dean's Leadership Society Mentorship Program
  Shaping the Next Generation of Women Leaders

We Invite You to Apply!

Through the vision and leadership of the Women of the Dean’s Leadership Society (WDLS), LeadHER is a selective mentorship cohort designed to intentionally form the next generation of women leaders in the School of Social Sciences.
 
Each fall, a small cohort of accomplished and motivated students is selected to participate in a ten-week leadership experience built on structured mentorship, curated learning circles, and direct engagement with accomplished alumni and community leaders.
 
LeadHER is designed for students who are serious about leadership, community impact, and long-term professional growth.
 
Participants earn 2 units of Pass/No Pass academic credit while building the clarity, confidence, and professional networks that will shape their careers.
 
LeadHER is designed for students who are committed to leadership, community impact, and advancing women in positions of influence.

To apply, students must:
  • Be a School of Social Sciences major in their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th year during AY 2026–27
  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Commit fully to Fall Quarter participation and enroll in the 2-unit course

Social Sciences transfer students are encouraged to apply.
 
LeadHER is designed for students who identify as women and are committed to advancing women in leadership. Students of all gender identities are welcome to apply.
 
We strongly encourage applications from first-generation and BIPOC students.
